seems like you were the only one!
those transfers are huuuge as well!
Too bad both, the double backflip and the tuck no-hander front flip weren't clean - both touched the ground with their feet....
(not as if I could do that or would question their achivements, but I'd find it fair, if - in a best trick comp - only correctly landed tricks could win; also prevent the riders from taking too high risks.
Holy ****!!
Also take a look at Zink at 1:02! - he landed the drop crooked and wasn't too far from falling off that cliff. Those are the moments when you feel your body exploding from adrenalin!
Backflip-Drop was just insane!

Cool construction. But there's one issue I'd be concerned about. Basically - taking the center of gravity into consideration - the rack will have a tendency to tilt back, especially when you have 4 heavy bikes loaded and go uphill. The construction actually allows a tilt in this direction to access the back of your van, and it seems, that it's only locked with a bolt one fits through the center tube. The bolt is just a few inches below the link the construction tilts around. So especially if you imagine going uphill on a dirt road with chuckholes (which is a very realistic scenario in shuttling bikes uphill, the weight of the bike can put a huge load of stress onto the bolt and the link because the force is multiplied by a big leverage and I wonder if the construction can handle these forces over the long run.
You gotta love Matti Lehikoinen! Such a gentle person, it's such a shame he suffered all those heavy injuries in his career.
I can remember seeing him at Megavalanche 2010 together with Simmonds - hope it won't be the last time I saw him!
cool that you found that! But in the end it's not about the suspension design you're using but what you make out of it.
but of course, I wonder as well, if that microlink really makes such a difference on the trail or if they could have used a single pivot with comparable performance, but lighter weight and better priced. But hey, I really love Yeti for adding their own characteristics to the market.
Oh, you can really feel the disappointment there! Such a shame what happened! You really are one of the most influential riders to me and one I look up to the most! Get well soon! Looking forward to seeing you back on the bike and some more amazing videos in the future! About Us
